Formulated Resins

Cytec’s line of CONAP^® resins, are comprised of formulated high technology, specialty polyurethane and epoxy resin systems tailored to suit the individual needs of our customers. These resins are commonly used in the tooling industry, and to encapsulate and protect electronics, coat printed circuit boards and adhere seal filters.

Polyurethane Resins

Cytec manufactures UCECOAT^® polyurethane resins for a variety of textile coating and leather treating applications. Cytec has developed a complete range of polyurethane coating resins for direct coating, transfer coating and coagulation processes. These products are distributed throughout the world and Cytec maintains manufacturing facilities in Europe and Asia, with dedicated technical service centers in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Urethane Chemicals

Cytec is a global supplier of tertiary-aliphatic isocyanates utilized in the manufacture of water-based and solvent-based coatings, adhesives and inks as well as elastomers and other specialty resins. TMXDI^® (META) aliphatic isocyanate and TMI^® (META) unsaturated aliphatic isocyanate offer unique processing and performance advantages in solvent-free polyurethane dispersion manufacture and latex property modification respectively.

Our line of TMXDI based CYDROTHANE^® Polyurethane Dispersions also offer unique performance benefits – particularly in superior substrate adhesion and flexibility. Methyl Carbamate (MEC) and meta-Diisopropenylbenzene (DIPEB) are related urethane chemicals used in a variety of commercial specialty applications.
