Cytec Industries Announces Price
Increase for Aero Melamine™
West Paterson, New Jersey, August 15, 2008 - Cytec Industries
Inc. (NYSE:CYT) today announced a price increase for Aero
Melamine™. Effective September 1, or as contracts allow,
melamine list prices will increase by $0.20/lb ($440/MT). The
Company cited increasing global feedstock costs and a tight
global supply/demand balance as contributing to the increase.
