Cytec Announces Price Increase for CYLINK® Monomer Products
West Paterson, NJ – August 1, 2008 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announced the implementation of a price increase of up to 20% in North America and Latin America on its range of CYLINK monomer cross-linking products. The increase, effective today, was implemented due to the additional escalation in the costs of raw materials, energy and transportation.

The line of monomer products is used as cross-linking monomers in the emulsion polymer industry.
