Cytec Announces Price Increase for AEROSOLŪ and SOLUSOLŪ
Surfactant Products
West Paterson, NJ – August 1, 2008 - Cytec Industries Inc.
(NYSE: CYT) announced the implementation of a price increase of
up to 10% in North America and Latin America on its AEROSOL and
SOLUSOL surfactant products. The increase, effective today, was
implemented due to the additional escalation in the costs of raw
materials, energy and transportation.
Cytec is a leading producer of sulphosuccinate surfactants which
are used in the emulsion polymer, paints, inks, adhesives and
personal care markets.
