Cytec Announces Price Increases on UV/EB Curing Specialty Resins in Europe, Middle East and Africa

West Paterson, NJ – July 28, 2008 - Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE: CYT) announces the implementation of a 5% price increase for its entire range of UV/EB Curing Specialty Resins sold in Europe, Middle East and Africa. The adjustment, effective September 15, 2008, is being implemented due to increases in the costs of raw materials, energy and transportation.
