CYTEC ANNOUNCES PRICE INCREASE ON LIQUID COATING RESINS AND
ADDITIVES IN ASIA PACIFIC
West Paterson, N.J., July 1,
2008 Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today that they
will increase prices of their Liquid Coating Resins (LCR) and
Additives in Asia Pacific. This price increase will take effect
for all shipments on or after July 15, 2008 or as contract terms
allow. The price increase will range as follows:

Aminos – 25 to
88 US cents per Kg ;

Other Liquid
Coating Resins – 10 to 25 US cents per Kg ;

Additives – 45
to 55 US cents per Kg ;
This price increase
is necessitated by rapidly increasing costs of raw materials,
energy and transportation..
