Cytec Announces Price Increases on Powder Coating Resins and Additives in Europe, Middle East and Africa

West Paterson, NJ, June 20, 2008 – Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) announced today to its customers that it is increasing the prices of its entire range of CRYLCOAT® powder coating resins and ADDITOL® P additives for powder coatings in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The price increase will be applicable on all shipments on or after July 15, 2008 or as contracts allow, and will be up to 0.13 EUR/kg, depending upon the grade.

This pricing adjustment follows sudden and unprecedented increases in raw materials, energy and freight costs.
